About Verdant Way

About Verdant Way
A patch of wild mullein growing at the edge of a yaupon stand, near an oat patch.

Verdant Way is a resource dedicated to exploring the sensory and medicinal properties of the natural world as a way to heal ourselves and the planet. It brings together over two decades of practice in herbalism, fermentation, and land-based observation, grounded in both traditional knowledge and critical inquiry.

The site features educational writing, field-based research, and small-batch herbal goods. It serves as a platform for sharing a perspective on herbalism that is observational, informed, and connected—bridging herbal practice and naturalist study.
